Privacy Policy
How this site handles personal information.

Who this policy is for
This policy explains how personal information is handled when you visit this website or contact Clare Langley through the contact form, email, or LinkedIn link.
Information you provide
If you use the contact form, the site opens your email app with your enquiry prefilled. The website itself does not store the form submission in a database. Your name, email address, selected enquiry focus, and message are processed by your email provider and Clare's email provider when you send the email.
If you complete the operational assessment, your name, email address, assessment score, and result tier are processed so the site can email your report. If you tick the newsletter box, your name, email address, assessment score, and result tier are also stored in a private server file so Clare can send monthly notes about customer experience and service transformation.
How enquiries are used
Enquiry information is used to respond to you, discuss potential work, keep appropriate business records, and manage follow-up communication. The usual lawful basis is legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries, or steps prior to entering into a contract where relevant.
Newsletter emails are only sent where you have actively opted in. You can unsubscribe or ask to be removed by emailing hi@clarelangley.com.
Externally hosted assets
This site currently loads fonts from Google Fonts and some imagery from Unsplash's image CDN. Those services may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser details, and the page you requested. A future production build can host these assets locally to reduce third-party requests.
Analytics and tracking
This site uses Google Analytics 4 only after a visitor accepts analytics cookies. Analytics may help understand page visits, popular content, approximate location, device type, and referral source. Analytics is configured with IP anonymisation and should not be used to identify individual visitors.
Retention
Enquiry emails and assessment report records may be kept for as long as needed to manage the conversation, maintain business records, and handle any resulting work. Newsletter contacts are kept until you unsubscribe or ask for your details to be deleted.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the use of your personal information. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office.
